The Intercultural Club at DAI-Heidelberg

AN EXPERIENCE-BASED SPACE TO EXPLORE HOW CULTURE SHAPES THE WAY WE COMMUNICATE, WORK, CONNECT, AND BELONG.

Hosted at the beautiful Deutsch-Amerikanisches Institut Heidelberg library, it’s a recurring program where cultural differences become something we explore together, creatively and with depth. Through hands-on activities, facilitated dialogue, and creative practice, it brings together German, American, and international perspectives.

The CLUB

Each session is a unique, immersive experience, from interactive explorations and cultural salons to shared rituals through food, movement, and the arts.
A space to explore culture in practice, deepen cross-cultural understanding, and build meaningful connections.

🧭 FORMAT

Interactive cultural experiences combining hands-on activities, meaningful conversation, reflection, and authentic human connection.

Each session explores culture and communication through different windows into culture, including art, food, music, movement, and shared experiences, inviting participants to learn through experience rather than lectures.

Participation is intentionally limited to support meaningful dialogue and interaction.

Register by the Wednesday before the session at 23:59 to secure your spot. If the minimum number of participants has been reached, registration may remain open until the session begins.
